Working at scale to future proof General Practice

Our practice has been working together with neighboring practices for many months now to consider different ways to improve care for our patients and to strengthen our practices for the future.

We are very pleased to share with you that our practice, and 3 others, are formally joining together to create a new division of a GP super-partnership called Modality Partnership. This formal change will be effective from 1 April 2017.

Like us, Modality Partnership is committed to NHS values and providing excellent care to our registered patients. They currently provide services to 100,000 patients across Sandwell, Birmingham, and Walsall.  You can find out more about Modality Partnership by visiting their website:

Please be assured that this change will not adversely impact the level of service and care we provide. By becoming part of a super-partnership, we can take advantage of the benefits of working in a bigger organisation and reap the rewards of working at scale which will evolve around improving access and care provided to all of our patients.

We plan to share more details with you as we move forward. There are information sessions being planned and we will keep you informed with regular updates.  We do understand that change can bring uncertainty.  We will be holding a launch event on Friday 7th April at New Hall Surgery , Oakfield Court, Cottingham Road, Hull from 1pm – 2.30pm Please do not hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions in the meantime.
